Our Halloween Cosplay Contest will be during the intermission of our 8th showing which will be on Oct. 27th. Like our other showings, we will begin at 7:00 PM with our showing of the week, which will be “Detroit Metal City” (It says Birdy on the website). This will be followed by the Halloween Cosplay Contest which will begin some time around 8:15 until 9:00 when we begin our weeklies (Kurenai and Zetsubo). The showing as well as the Halloween Cosplay Contest is completely free to watch just like all of our other events
, however membership is required to place in the contest itself. Everyone is free to come wearing costumesthough the prizes are limited to our members.[...]
Unfortunately we are still working on the specifics of the contest, however the rules for the contest are on our website here RULES. Unfortunately due to campus policies about classroom reservations, we will not be able to give an exact place until October 14th.
Updated 9.26.2008:
CAA has decided to open up the contest to everyone regardless of membership status! Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 contestants. There is no need for advance registration; just show up and sign up at the event.
