It's not technically summer yet but I'll be taking a trip to China for 10 days, leaving this Wednesday! Although the plane's stopping over in Japan it will just be a for a couple of hours each way... oh well!
Anyone else have any big plans for this summer? Would anyone be interested in some kind of outdoor BayAnime event?

my friends and i are planning to bum around at evo in vegas, back to back with comic-con -- should be happy fun good times.
A bunch of my old friends from my video game club in college are going to Evo this year too. If I had access to any recent fighting game and could practice until I'm at least halfway decent I'd probably be there, but I don't really want to embarrass myself...

hello guys! just signed up for the site, and i'd be down for some sort of event this summer.
nothing too crazy planned for this summer other than try to save moneys. though side trips to fanime and a possible visit to the sd comic-con won't help that plan. :)

hey! i found you guys by searching around for local anime clubs and events.
i will definitely be at Fanime this saturday and sunday, but i am not sure i will be there early enough saturday to attend the panel. do you guys have a booth or area on the convention floor that i can find?
I was going to try to study Japanese a bit this summer. I'm tired of waiting for subtitles.
I'll be off to the Philippines for most of June. ^.^V Hopefully during the downtime there I will be able to brush up/learn more Japanese.

have fun in the philippines, Clover! i have not been back there since i moved to the States at the tender age of 6.
Some of us staff from No-Name Anime will be going to San Diego Comic-con. So if you're going, you might bump into us there. The rest of the staff, I suspect, will be trying to get up to Berkeley to see if they can get into the Miyazaki presentation.
