Kimono My House
By Ann • Aug 22, 2008First established back in 1980 as a Japanese antique and kimono store, Kimono My House was the first retail store in Emeryville (their shop is still situated in its original warehouse rooftop location), and may well have been the first in the U.S. to specialize exclusively in imported anime and sci-fi toys. Their long history and vast selection makes them THE place in the Bay for rare vintage toys and collectibles. They also stock current toys, t-shirts, and trading cards (no kimonos, though).

won a toy from these people on Ebay for $175 shipping included. The package didn`t arrive and the tracking number revealed that it wasn`t actually sent. I was out of town and missed the cut off date to file a claim for the item through Ebay. The woman I had corresponded with(Susan)seemed really nice so I wasn`t too worried about the situation untill I got no reply to five or six emails regarding the toy that I had paid them for.
I phoned and got the brush off another four or five times.
Disgusting behaviour for adults, I would never take advantage of someone like this. I`m frustrated and sickened by my transaction with these people.
